PLaTa: Spanish state administration Machine Translation Platform

Function: Translation

PLATA is the machine translation platform of the Spanish government. It is designed to be integrated into the web portals of public administrations. The machine translation platform (PLATA) developed by the ICT Directorate is based on open-source machine translation engines like Moses or Apertium, translating Spanish texts into the other official languages in Spain or into English, French and Portuguese.

Web Service
The Catalogue of Services is maintained by the Service Desk of the CEF Automated Translation Platform. The service desk is funded via a contract (SMART 2016/0103) of the EU’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) programme.
