Inbenta's search solution is based on natural language processing. The user's query is anaysed syntactically and semantically. Through syntactic analysis, Inbenta determines the precise function of every word in this particular question. Further analysis of the sentence will depend on many factors including the domain dictionary, disambiguation rules, context, etc. Through semantic analysis, the relative importance of every word in the sentence is determined by assigning a semantic weight to every term in the search query.
